WINES
We believe that vines, grapes and the wines they become should be guided and cared for, never forced.
PHILOSOPHY
Year after year, we let the land speak through our wines.
That’s why we try not only to think, but above all to feel.
We constantly question what the best choice might be, year after year, for each specific situation.
We don’t subscribe to any single wine ideology, but over time we’ve embraced organic and biodynamic practices, favoring a low-intervention approach, spontaneous fermentations and minimal filtration.
All our wines are made exclusively from Monferrato’s native grapes and are conceived as an authentic expression of this land with its white soils rich in gypsum and calcareous marl.
My signature: minerality, elegance and sincerity.

Sant'Eusebio
Monferrato DOC made with Baratuciat grapes
Baratuciat is an indigenous grape variety from the Western Alps, now almost extinct.
I’ve always liked the idea of helping keep it alive, not only because it’s a contemporary white, mineral, saline and endless, but also because it thrives in our soils and in an ever-warming climate.

Rosathos
Rosé Wine
A mix of native varieties, harvested early depending on the vintage, to allow the remaining grapes on the vine to reach optimal ripeness.
From an agronomic standpoint, it’s the most important wine we make; from an oenological perspective, it’s a carefree, saline “poolside” wine.

Montecastello
Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC
It’s the native grape variety par excellence of this area, grown here since before the discovery of America, before tomatoes and potatoes were ever cultivated.
I like it because it’s gruff, like me, often with a difficult character that’s not for everyone. And usually wines (and people) that please everyone usually don’t please me.

Custèra
Monferrato DOC Freisa
This is considered a rustic grape variety. What does that mean? That back in the day, vineyards in Piedmont were dotted with Freisa vines here and there, as it was said to improve other varieties and to be particularly resistant to certain diseases.
Now, I like to vinify it on its own, but its rustic character has remained.

Truccone
Barbera del Monferrato DOC
The wine my grandfather used to drink every day: generous, fruity, and endlessly versatile.
Our expression of Barbera is meant, above all, to evoke pleasure and conviviality.
